My name is Lauren Hume, and as a dedicated childcare provider and mother, I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can thrive. I hold a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Grand Canyon University and have over 8 years of experience working with children, including five years as a high school educator, 3 years as a elementary paraprofessional, and five years as an academic counselor. My background allows me to design activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and confidence, all while making learning fun and interactive. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I am CPR certified and hold a Fingerprint Clearance Card, ensuring a secure environment for every child in my care. As a former stay-at-home mom to my one-year-old son, LJ, I understand firsthand the importance of providing a loving, home-like atmosphere where children feel comfortable and valued. At Park’s Little Locomotives Childcare, I believe in building strong relationships with both children and parents. My goal is to provide personalized care, open communication, and a structured yet flexible approach to early childhood learning.
